1. Students may apply for either the HKDSE or IBDP pathway.

2. Students will undergo the streaming process in accordance with their stated preferences.

3. Upon completion of the streaming process, students who are not admitted to the IBDP will be placed in the HKDSE, and vice versa.

Admission Considerations

1. To be deemed eligible, students must meet the specific prerequisites presented during the G9 Streaming Night for parents and students.

2. Admission decisions are based on multiple criteria, including academic performance, conduct grades, interview performance, an essay outlining research interests, teachers’ recommendations, and other relevant factors.

3. To achieve an optimal balance within the HKDSE and IBDP student populations, students across high, middle, and lower overall performance levels may be considered for admission to either pathway.
