G.T. College (http://www.gtcollege.edu.hk) is the first school for the gifted in Hong Kong. A DSS school to nurture multiple talents, we are renowned for our innovation in small class teaching, multiple intelligences, gifted education, STEM education, English teaching and research.
Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for top caliber educators to join our management team. Related duties are to:
1. Assist the Principal to lead the College to growth, development, and expansion;
2. Plan and Implement the Hong Kong and International Curriculum and Assessment;
3. Develop teachers’ diverse talents as well as to enhance their team spirit and morale to become a professional team;
4. Assist in human resources management and organizational rejuvenation;
5. Supervise students’ life education, peace education and talent development;
6. Serve as front-line teachers for educational research and innovation.
Requirements
1. Share the G.T. vision and values;
2. Possess a bachelor degree and PGDE or equivalent; a master or doctoral degree an advantage;
3. Passionate in learning and teaching; enthusiastic about students’ development;
4. Proven track record in school administration, with at least ten years of teaching experience and preferably five years’ experience at senior management level in secondary school;
5. Understand well the trend of education and curriculum in Hong Kong and overseas (such as DSE, GCE and IB);
6. Have good interpersonal and communicative skills; proficient in English Language and Chinese Language.
The successful candidate is expected to report duty on 1 September, 2024. G.T. College has its own payscale generally in line with government MPS.
