About US

Founded in 1996, G.T. (Ellen Yeung) College is a pioneering Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) EMI through-train school dedicated to gifted education. Guided by Howard Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligences (MI) and our core values of Love, Creativity, and Task Commitment, we nurture students to become global leaders. General Requirements

  • A recognised degree in the relevant subject area (Master’s or PhD is a strong advantage).
  • Genuine enthusiasm for education and dedication to the teaching profession.
  • Good language proficiency suitable for a fully English-medium instruction (EMI) environment.
  • A strong interest in Multiple Intelligences theory and a willingness to explore diverse, creative instructional approaches.
  • Additional professional qualifications such as PGDE, IBDP certification, or LPAT.
  • Mandatory requirement in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST) and Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) requirements.

Educational Psychologist

 

G.T. (Ellen Yeung) College is a vibrant learning community dedicated to academic excellence and holistic student development. The above vacancy is now open for the Academic Year 2025/26

Duties:

  • To design, develop and try out educational resources and materials (e.g. toolkits, handbooks, pamphlets and videos) for supporting students with mental health needs, promotion of student mental health and prevention of student suicide;
  • To assist in organising and delivering training on promoting student mental health for teachers, parents and students;
  • To assist in networking school teachers as resource persons for mental health promotion;
  • To provide general and administrative support on coordinating of training and resources production;
  • To provide psycho-educational assessment and intervention for students with learning, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties;
  • To provide consultation and support to school personnel and parents for students with diverse educational needs; and
  • To carry out ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • A Hong Kong bachelor’s degree in Psychology, or equivalent;
  • A certificate in education from Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;
  • A Hong Kong Master’s degree in Educational Psychology (Professional Practice), or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 6 years relevant experience after obtaining qualification (a) above, of which at least 3 years as an Educational Psychologist in an educational setting after obtaining qualification (c) above;
  • Good communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills; and
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
