Procedures

1.       Students choose to apply for HKDSE or IBDP.

2.       Students will go through the streaming process according to their choices.

3.       After the streaming process, those students not admitting to IBDP will be admitted to HKDSE and vice versa.

Admission considerations

1.       To be considered eligible, students must fulfill specific prerequisites as outlined in the G9 Streaming Night for parents and students.

2.       Besides academic performance, conduct grade, interview performance, essay of research interests, teachers’ recommendation and other factors are considered.

3.       To strive for the optimal mix of student population in HKDSE and IBDP. Students in high, mid and low overall performance will also have a chance to be admitted to HKDSE and IBDP.
